Established in 1992, Angelucci 20th Century offers a broad selection of local and international furnishings, lighting and designer pieces predominantly from the 1950′s and 1960′s.
Most of our Vintage stock is sourced in France and Denmark. Care is taken to locate not only iconic designs from the International Style and Danish Modern movements, but also the beautifully crafted “everyday” vintage pieces that are equal parts form and function. Our eclectic selection can also include 20th Century European Industrial , Javanese Dutch-Colonial 40’s-50’s. In fact almost anything from the mid-20th Century that we feel is a unique expression of this complex and rich period.
Our selection of original pieces is complemented by our bespoke ‘Slimline’ and ‘Hollywood’ lounge ranges. Beautiful homewares from Australia, Scandinavia, USA, and elsewhere complete the picture. We also produce the iconic Butterfly Chair in Melbourne- the enduring classic made the world over since its inception in 1938, now available from us in Stainless Steel !
We believe that vintage mid 20th century pieces can sit comfortably in any contemporary interior, complementing and contrasting with the things you love – be they 1 or 100 years old.
All our vintage original pieces are lovingly restored in our workshop here in Melbourne.
